1. Explicit Phrase:
   When you are looking for a particular words/string on net then you may not get the desired result like if u type finance home this the result you get :-

   As you can see that i didn't get the intended result, now type the same string but this time within double quotations this will work perfectly.What happens is when ever you type more than one word which are from different domain it searches for both of them considering them as 2 different results and hence it displays the result with finance or home.
   

2. Exclude Words:
   Some time it may happen that we are looking for something which lies in more than one domain but we want to exclude result from a particular domain like:-animals which will look like this............. . Now suppose you do not info about insects so what you will do type:-animals-insects. .

3. Similar Words and Synonyms:
Let’s say you are want to include a word in your search, but want to include results that contain similar words or synonyms. To do this, use the "~" in front of the word.

Non-Contact Thermometer

A company called Kidz-Med, Inc. has launched a new thermometer called, "Thermofocus", claiming it as the first thermometer to take accurate body temperature readings without touching the body.

It uses the infrared technology to measure body temperature by just pointing the thermometer towards forehead. As forehead is only body part which has considerable amount of blood supply and with no hair cover which enables this device to get the exact temp. It is claimed to take less than 1 sec to measure body temp.

Well this device looks good to me although i cant comment upon how much reliable its results would be but it looks an easy to use than the standard thermometer available.

Increase Net Speed

This is a method which frees the bandwidth reserved by microsoft for various updates, you can reduce the bandwidth allocated following these steps.

• Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes.This opens the group policy editor.
  
• Then go to:Local Computer Policy>then Computer Configuration>then Administrative Templates then Network then QOS Packet Scheduler and then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth.
• Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."
