A company called Kidz-Med, Inc. has launched a new thermometer called, "Thermofocus", claiming it as the first thermometer to take accurate body temperature readings without touching the body.It uses the infrared technology to measure body temperature by just pointing the thermometer towards forehead. As forehead is only body part which has considerable amount of blood supply and with no hair cover which enables this device to get the exact temp. It is claimed to take less than 1 sec to measure body temp.
Well this device looks good to me although i cant comment upon how much reliable its results would be but it looks an easy to use than the standard thermometer available.
